Josh wasn’t planning on becoming an actor, but after being short on credits to go to dental school, he was discovered by a modeling agency and even beat out fellow model Ashton Kutcher for a place as a top model. Modeling eventually gave way to acting, where he starred in the daytime soap opera All My Children. Next was a part in Win A Date With Tad Hamilton! And then Josh landed one of the starring roles alongside Oscar-nominated James Caan in the television series Las Vegas.
After being scolded by a fellow member of Las Vegas for buying a dog, Josh knew his next dog would be a rescue. So when he was ready, he had a rescue organization bring a dog to his home to see how they would get along with his current dog, Zoey. Josh was told that the dog was a great athlete, and as if on cue, he stated, “The dog got stuck between the coffee table and the stairs… so we knew he wasn’t very athletic!” Josh is currently teaming with PetSmartCharities to promote their “High-Five For Pet Adoption” Campaign and celebrating their 5 millionth pet adoption.
