A Denver Couple “Takes the Plunge” at Elitch Gardens Theme & Water Park in 100 Degree Heat on Friday, June 22 – Veil, Bow Tie and All!

Denver, CO – June 22, 2012  - Lucky Denver couple Suzie and Travis decided to “Take the Plunge,” beginning a new life as husband and wife, just before dropping four-vertical-stories on Elitch Garden’s adrenaline inducing EDGE water slide.  The Bride and Groom, braving 100-degree heat, climbed to the top of the EDGE water slide where radio and TV personality Kelly Ford (also an ordained minister) joined them in holy matrimony.

The ceremony was followed by a slippery reception where the newlyweds were presented with a $1,500 Mastercard Gift Card and $1,000 in Flybucks from Frontier Airlines.  Bites of cake were swapped without incident.

Suzie entered a contest on Denver's KYGO radio station and the rest is history.  After dating for about a year, the couple wed today with the Bride dressed in a black swimsuit and white veil, the Groom in a white dress shirt, black bow-tie and swim trunks.
