Repocast.com Invests in Flint, Creates New Jobs

June 22, 2012 - PRLog -- (Flint, Mich.)  Repocast.com, an affiliate of Miedema Auctioneering & Appraisals, Inc. has announced plans to expand the business and move to a new, larger location in Flint. The auction house will be located adjacent to the former Buick City property on 2851 James P. Cole Boulevard.

The company plans to invest $2 million to expand their operations. The expansion is expected to create 30 new jobs over the next year. In addition, 15 employees will relocate to the new site from the company’s Ortonville location.

Repocast.com is an Internet auction company that conducts millions of dollars of auction sales annually and has a broad following of online bidders from all over the world. It offers commercial, business and personal assets of all types such as one-of-a-kind cars, boats, personal watercraft, machinery, recreational vehicles, furniture and more. The liquidated items are received from businesses, banks and credit unions or have been repossessed. Repocast.com also offers the general public a place to both buy and sell their own equipment, items and merchandise.

The project includes a 100,000 square foot building, a 76,000 square foot mezzanine area and 26 acres of outdoor storage. The company is currently remodeling and expects to begin operations at the new site mid to late July.
