PRLog - Jun. 21, 2012 - SAN FRANCISCO -- San Francisco Electric Tour Company announced the addition of a new night Segway tour to their existing repertoire. The new night tour highlights Chinatown, North Beach, and the Embarcadero Waterfront.
Segway Night Tour Chinatown and Little Italy in San Francisco
The Tour begins at the West end of Fisherman’s Wharf before gliding through North Beach, the neighborhood best known as San Francisco’s Little Italy. Guests will stop at Washington Square and learn about the Beat Generation. Next, guests will visit Chinatown, a veritable city within a city and home to the largest Chinese community outside of Asia. The tour loops back up the Embarcadero waterfront, cruising past historic Piers before stopping at Fisherman’s Wharf, where visitors will see Dungeness crabs being cracked in historic open-air stalls.
Next, the tour passes the Cable Car turntable, Ghirardelli Square and the National Maritime Museum before pausing to admire breathtaking views of the Alcatraz Lighthouse against the glittering backdrop of the San Francisco Bay.

Departures: April through October: Nightly at 7:30pm. November through March: 5pm Friday & Saturday.
With 4 or more guests, the company will add additional tours on Monday through Wednesday nights.
Departure Location: 757 Beach Street, San Francisco CA 94109 from the rear parking lot. Advance reservations are encouraged. In the case of cold or foggy weather, guests will receive gloves and warm coats.
