Pro Kitchen Gear Wins Best of Delaware 2012 for Best Home Accessories Store, Upstate

PRLog (Press Release) - Jun. 22, 2012 - Pro Kitchen Gear, a foodie-focused kitchen store nestled in One Greenville Crossing, is proud to announce their first Best of Delaware award for being voted the Best Home Accessories Store, Upstate, for 2012.

Pro Kitchen Gear was founded as an internet only business in 2010 by food lover and home chef extraordinaire, Dave McCormick.  After a successful year in business, and playing into their brand to connect the home chef and professional chef, they opened their first brick and mortar location in Greenville, Delaware, in October of 2011.  Within months, Pro Kitchen Gear proved to be a necessity for the nearby community.

Founder and owner, Dave McCormick, is extremely proud of the award.  "Delaware is an incredible state with people doing phenomenal things.  It is an honor to have been voted Best of Delaware by our customers and our community.   Connecting with these folks is what this company is about and I couldn't be happier".  Dave attributes their success to the incredible passion of his team members who "know how to cook" and provide "more 'cooking' ideas than you can ever get from a big-box retailer".

Pro Kitchen Gear has held book signings with Philadelphia's Italian Chef superstar, Marc Vetri, and has more (unannounced) book signings planned for the upcoming months.  They hold culinary classes in their store from knife skills to pressure cooking and are in the planning stages of holding farm to table tours over the summer.

Pro Kitchen Gear will be at the Best of Delaware Party, held on Thursday, July 26th, 2012 at Dover Downs.
