Metropolitan Medical Offers Options to Owners, GE® Datex-Ohmeda® Mod SE/Excel anesthesia machines

PRLog (Press Release) - Jun. 21, 2012 - Recently, GE discontinued sales of the 1503-3855-000 flow transducer for the 7900 ventilator, directly affecting owners of the GE Datex-Ohmeda Modulus SE and Excel 210 SE anesthesia machines with the 7900 ventilator. In response, Metropolitan Medical Services announced today a discount trade-in program specifically for customers in the market who currently own these machines. The GE Aestiva® anesthesia machines that utilize 7900 ventilation technology are not affected by the discontinuation.

The discount program will issue a trade-allowance, based on the model and condition of the anesthesia machine trade-in, towards the purchase of a new Spacelabs® BleaseSirius® anesthesia system or a current generation reconditioned anesthesia machine. Some of the more popular reconditioned anesthesia machines available from Metropolitan include the GE Aestiva, Aespire®, Avance®; the Drager® Apollo®, Fabius GS®, Fabius GS Premium, and the Fabius GS Tiro®.
