Motorcycle Manufactures Ride Into Carlisle Bike Fest

PRLog (Press Release) - Jun. 21, 2012 - Carlisle Bike Fest has been a destination amongst open-air enthusiasts since 2002 and the event revs up once again, July 20-22 at the Carlisle PA Fairgrounds.  There are many unique and popular aspects to Bike Fest weekend and one of the most popular is the opportunity to demo new motorcycles.  With the support of four manufactures on grounds, the nearly 35,000 bike, trike and open-air fanatics can ride their future.  This year, representatives from Victory, Star, Suzuki and Kawasaki will be onsite all weekend, providing opportunities to test ride a new motorcycle.

As part Bike Fest anyone who can legally ride a motorcycle is eligible to test ride one as well.  Not only will there be test rides of great bikes, but they come with spectacular scenery on guided rides around the Carlisle region.   What makes these demo rides special is that Carlisle Bike Fest provides a forum to do something that can't be done at a single dealership - the opportunity to "try numerous bikes and brands in one place."  Riders who are in the market for a new bike or just curious to see what a particular bike feels like can take their pick and give one a spin.  Representatives from the Victory, Star, Suzuki and Kawasaki will be on hand to talk shop and answer bike-specific questions.

"Carlisle Bike Fest is one of the mid-Atlantic’s premier motorcycle events," noted event manager Ed Scholly.  "We have strong support from regional motorcycle dealers of all makes and models.  Our event's unique gathering of riders, motorcycle dealers and manufactures makes Bike Fest an ideal location for manufactures like Victory, Star, Suzuki and Kawasaki to provide demo opportunities.  There are a limited number of events and locations a rider can demo numerous makes and models in one visit," continued Scholly.  "You never know, one of these demo motorcycles could be your next new bike or your next used bike in a few seasons! With four large haulers positioned just inside of Gate 3 and hundreds of bikes to choose from, enthusiasts coming to Carlisle will ride into an event and a region unlike any other.  Attendees are encouraged to not only visit Bike Fest, but also to make it a weekend hub for scenic cruises and unmatched camaraderie within the historic Cumberland Valley!  Roadways through rolling hills border Carlisle's north and south, with farmlands to the west and the Susquehanna River to the east.  The region itself was featured in April's edition of US Airways magazine.  This three-day event is a can't miss for riders of all levels!
