Dragao Porto On International Algarve Fair A Great Success!

June 21, 2012 - PRLog -- Now in its seventh year, the International Algarve Fair, held last weekend at the Fatacil fairground in Lagoa was hailed a great success by all involved. Visitor numbers were on a par with last year, although many people had the sensation that there were more, which is probably due to the fact that people stayed for longer to explore the varied and beautifully decorated stands, restaurants and family entertainment. Dragao Porto a local marketing company were amazed by results of the fair and hope for another amazing next year.”

Aside from business, the International Algarve Fair is also about a great family day out and includes entertainment which this year included live music by singer Kat Blu, The Ted’s and The Yesterdays, Zumba dance demonstrations by Portimão-based instructor Laura Taylor, martial arts demonstrations, Ellen Dance Group, Latin Dancing by Via Lattina Algarve and Hip Hop. There were also fashion shows by Jouk’s Studio, Mojo Trading Men’s Fashion and Beachwear and also by The Donkey Sanctuary. A source from Dragao Porto said “Its great that the fair isn’t just about us businessmen and women and that it’s a good day out for the family with so much to do and see making it a success.”

Little ones were entertained with bouncy castles and a play area set up by O’Kido as well as a dedicated children’s restaurant, while Circo Pequeno performed juggling acts and much more elsewhere in the fair. The Algarve Dog Show once again was a great success and raised €1,500 for the chosen charity of the year. (More on pages 62 and 63).

A number of companies were so impressed by the response from the public that they have made advanced bookings for next year’s International Algarve Fair as well as for the exclusive autumn event, the Golden Triangle Exhibition. The Director at Dragao Porto Stated “ Wonderful news for all of us in Portugal, I can tell already that next years International Algarve Fair will be a huge success.”

Ms. Seixas explained: “Once the International Algarve Fair is wrapped up, the team starts work on the Golden Triangle Exhibition, a very exclusive event aimed at meeting the needs of the residents in the Golden Triangle area, which will be held at the Vila Sol Golf & Resort Hotel near Vilamoura on 20 and 21 October.”
