“This was a grassroots effort from our employees, but it was our customers who were more than willing to help us reach our goal,” said Rob Meador, VP Groove Auto. “We will continue throughout the year to support our Colorado military and their families any way we can.”
The Home Front Cares has provided over $3,000,000 in emergency funds to over 2,000 active military families and recently retired Iraq and Afghan veterans since 2001. “We are so appreciative of Groove Auto and Metro Denver’s commitment to Colorado veterans and military families,” said April Speake, Executive Director of The Home Front Cares. “Gifts such as this help us provide immediate financial support for the urgent, essential needs of returning troops. The number of veterans needing our support will only increase as the wars overseas wind down and our military cuts its force.”
Rob Meador of Groove Auto will present a check to April Speake for The Home Front Cares on Tuesday, June 27th at 11am at Groove Subaru, 5300 South Broadway, Englewood.
