“We’re very excited about this new way of powering our Day Center in Ewing,” says Kelly Jiras of The Arc Mercer. “From today onward, all the electricity used at our facility will be generated by the solar array installed on top of the buildings at an enormous savings to us.

Atop the Arc Mercer buildings are nearly six hundred 240-watt solar panels made by Sharp and installed by NES. This sustainable technology will generate all of the electricity used at our location. That’s more than 162,000 kilowatt/hours per year, saving us an estimated $375,000 over the next 15 years.”
