25 Companies Selected for 2nd Annual FashInvest Speed Dating Event

With more than 100 applicants for the 2nd annual Speed-Dating event, FashInvest has selected 25 in the Fashion Tech, Branded Goods, Fashion & Retail sectors to participate in the capital growth event on Thursday, June 21st.
 
June 20, 2012 - PRLog -- WILMINGTON, DE - With more than a hundred applicants for the 2nd annual Speed-Dating event, FashInvest has selected 25 of the most promising emerging businesses in the Fashion Tech, Branded Goods, Fashion & Retail sectors to participate in the capital growth event. Sponsored and hosted by Duane Morris LLP., the Speed Dating will take place on Thursday, June 21st.

“We are very excited by the variety of companies and entrepreneurs participating this year. While the majority (75%) of the entrepreneurs represent the Fashion Technology industry, the remaining are from traditional Branded Goods and Fashion,” stated Karen Griffith Gryga, CEO of FashInvest . “We even have a former President of Tommy Hilfiger participating, along with entrepreneurs from Israel and London.”

Styled in a “speed-dating” format, the companies will have only 3-minutes to pitch their business concepts to a stellar group of investors before rotating to the next table. The event will begin with an optional pitch workshop at 2:00 p.m. for entrepreneurs who want to fine-tune their pitches before the official speed dating session at 5:30p.m.
