The competition, similar to the popular television show “Shark Tank,” gave show attendees the opportunity to present, or “pitch,” their product or idea to a seasoned team of product development specialists and marketers. Over 70 contestants vied for the awards.
On evaluating the presentations, Pitch Tank seminar host Kevin Harrington, formerly of “Shark Tank” and chairman of TVGoods, said, “We sat through over 70 amazing presentations…
“We are very excited about being recognized by ‘Pitch Tank,’ and such respected product development experts,” remarked CEO and inventor Susan Grillo. “The panel seemed like they were very impressed and they asked a lot of questions. Our time with them was invaluable – they had some great insights for DOT Marks the Spot’s future.”
As the 2nd place winner, DOT Marks the Spot will receive a free booth at next year’s National Hardware Show, to be held at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada, May 7-9, 2013.
