Garden Gate to Show at Festival

June 20, 2012 - PRLog -- Trenton Mid-Summer festival attracts over 150 crafters to its event each year along with over 75,000 festival goers. This is the first year for Pamela Drake and her crew at the Garden Gate booth at Festival. She heard about the festival from a friend when she attended another event and is looking forward to visiting Trenton. During May- November her group is busy touring four shows a month with only two weekends off during that time.

Garden Gate designs their metal creations on a C & C Machine which cuts their flowers into the shapes they desire on a plasma table in their work shop. They then paint them and stack them by the hundreds to make sure they are well supplied while they are on the road. When they get to the show, Pamela’s husband Christopher bends them and puts the metal flowers together. “People really enjoy watching us make our creations. Our best seller is a small painted lilly flower that looks bright and sunny in the garden all year round,” said Drake. They also have a new solar lit flower that they hope to have ready in time for festival.
