In other words Brody is not the engineer that just sits back, gets paid his hourly to push the record/stop buttons, and do average mixing techniques. If you haven't already experienced it, many others out there do that. NOT US!
When there could be helpful additions to be made like doubling guitars, layering a chorus, adding harmonies, or adding a phone effect on the backups, etc... If wanted, he will jump in and work with you, to you get the best sound.
Simply put, there is a high standard that has been set throughout this studio, and Indigital takes a hands on approach to deliver that.
On the other hand, if you were planning on going to record at a project studio that only charges $20 an hour, because that's easier on your wallet, that might be what is best for you. Just keep in mind, you get what you pay for, and that applies to recording too. I know all too well about being in a band and trying to save a buck so that I can have more cash for cd duplication, and merchandise.
