Geared towards the low to moderate income population, CESI’s Housing Counseling division offered workshops that covered topics such as: credit education, customized counseling, home buyer education and foreclosure prevention.
“We are very encouraged by the large turn-out for this inaugural event, but we were equally excited about the sincere interest the participants demonstrated to learning how to improve their financial lives,” said Sheryl Merritt, CESI Housing Program Manager. “CESI hopes to host additional financial education seminars covering different topics throughout the community in the coming months.”
