Interim Homes Awarded Government Services Administration (GSA) Contract and USDA Housing Contact

PRLog (Press Release) - Jun. 20, 2012 - Annapolis, MD – Interim Homes Inc. is a small, women-owned, short term housing company in Annapolis MD that has been awarded two contracts for temporary housing so far this year.  The GSA award is a multiple award schedule to provide corporate apartments for Government employees requiring accommodations longer than 30 days in the same city.  The contract is issued by the General Services administration in Washington DC.  The contract is renewable each year pending satisfactory sales and customer satisfaction.  

The second win is the award for U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), Housing for Interns Program.  Each year the USDA hires college students as interns to work in the Washington DC area and in key locations throughout the country to learn and support this agency within the Federal Government. The award is a base year plus 4-option year contract renewable each year.  The total value of the contract over 5 years is $1.2 million.

Interim Homes was selected from several small business owners to supply temporary housing for these individuals.  According to Anne Cecere, President of Interim Homes, “This is a great stepping stone for Interim Homes in becoming a strong leader in the Corporate Housing community in the Baltimore-Washington Area and across the country.
