The Hackney Weekend will feature live music from a huge line-up of UK and international artists including such acts as Jay Z, Jessie J and Rihanna.
Full coverage of the concert from Hackney Marshes will be broadcast live on Swansea’s big screen in Castle Square from 4.00pm – 10.30pm on both Saturday (23 June) and Sunday (24 June).
Frances Jenkins, Swansea Council’s Strategic Manager for Tourism, Marketing and Events said, “The big screen is a great City Centre attraction with Radio 1’s Hackney Weekend festival just one event in a fantastic programme of free events and live screenings taking place at Swansea’s London 2012 Live Site throughout the summer.”
