‘Rosehill Ladies’ Race for Life

PRLog (Press Release) - Jun. 20, 2012 - Set in the wooded valley of Porthtowan, a popular surfing destination on the north coast of Cornwall, is Rosehill Lodges. Celebrating their third consecutive Five Star Gold Award this year, Rosehill Lodges have led the way in combining green-sustainability with luxury self –catering accommodation - featuring grass roofs and hot tubs for an exceptional holiday experience.  Located a few minutes’ walk away from Porthtowan’s beautiful beach, which has once again retained its Blue Flag Award, Rosehill has many features that make it a fabulous holiday retreat.  All at Rosehill endeavour to work with the local community whenever they can and this year the Housekeeping team and friends will be participating in the Race for Life.

Cancer is something that increasingly touches us all, with many having either a direct experience of it or knowing someone that has suffered from it.  Rosehill Lodges is proud to announce that one of their very excellent housekeeping staff, Kirsty Walters, has organized a team of ladies under the banner of ‘Rosehill Ladies’ to participate in Truro’s ‘Race for Life’ to raise money for cancer research.  The 5km run/walk will take place on 15th July, starting from Richard Lander School, and ‘Rosehill Ladies’ are hoping to raise plenty of money for this worthy cause.

Locals have been very supportive, many having had direct experience of the changes cancer can wreak on people’s lives, and there have already been some very generous donations.
