Help Cleanup Martin County And Fill A Bus With School Supplies
Event held on July 14, Picnic Afterwards at Jensen Beach Park, Hutchinson Island
Jensen Beach, FL  -- The Entrepreneurship Foundation, Inc. in partnership with the Jensen Beach Chamber of Commerce, will hold a Community Cleanup for Schools (CC4S) on Saturday, July 14. The kick-off will take place at the south end of the parking lot at Jensen Beach Park on Hutchinson Island at 4191 NE Ocean Blvd, 8-8:30am.
The purpose of the event is to clean up designated areas of Martin County. Anyone can sign up a team at www.pdgostuart.com. You can also form a team to cleanup an area other than the listed areas.
The event will also benefit the school supply drive that is being headed by the Boys and Girls Club of Martin County. The supplies are given to children in all Martin County schools who sign up for free or reduced cost lunch.
The Boys and Girls Club school bus will be at the event and club volunteers will be accepting all donations. Donors will receive a raffle tickets for prizes that will be awarded at the picnic immediately following the cleanup.
Following the July 14 event, school supplies will be collected until August 5.
Teams will be matched to a cleanup area depending on the size of their team or an area of their choice.  The hours for the cleanup are from 8:30am to 11:30am. An appreciation picnic will be held at noon back at Jensen Beach Park on Hutchinson Island.
The cleanup will cover, but is not limited to the following areas: Beaches: Martin County line south to Bob Graham Park on Hutchinson Island; Indian River Lagoon shoreline: Jensen Beach Causeway Bridge south to Indian Riverside Park; Jensen Beach Causeway Park, Jensen Beach Boulevard; and downtown Jensen Beach.
School supplies may also be dropped off prior to July 14 at the following locations:

There are three ways you can become involved. You can form a team to help with the cleanup or form a crew to help with the set up and breakdown of the event and with event activities that day. Donations of school supplies, cash to be used for school supplies, food and drink and raffle prizes are also needed.
