Teaming up with Eagle Calf Records, the recording is the highest digital quality sound with a mix of harmonized and handdrum songs. Four harmonized songs are featured on this album, they include: Daddy’s Girl, Luv @ 1st Sight, Birthday Song, and Pretty Lil Finger . Pow-wowJamz, LLC is a digital distribution outlet for Native American Music and Entertainment. They specialize in worldwide distribution, as they have the ability to distribute artists’ music on over 400 digital stores (iTunes, Amazon, Sprint, Verizon, AT&T, ect.) worldwide. Founder and CEO, Robert John Hart, has always been known throughout “Indian Country” by his Father’s family name, Bird. He is 34 years old and has sung, danced, and practiced his cultural ways since he was able to walk. In 2004, after years of struggling with numerous incarcerations, drug, alcohol, and money addictions, he was indicted by the DEA and FBI on a drug conspiracy that cost him over 4 years of Federal incarceration and 5 years of Federal Supervision. In 2008, 11 days after finishing his prison sentence, he started college at the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire (UWEC). He excelled in his academics, became a member, and eventually president, of the Native American Student Association (NASA), was Multi-Cultural Issues Chairperson for Student Senate, a member of the football team, and participated in numerous campus events. In November of 2010, he decided to be closer to his son and family, took an academic leave of absence, and moved back to the Saginaw Chippewa Indian Reservation in Mount Pleasant, MI. Since moving back to the reservation, he founded PowwowJamz, LLC, works a full-time job for the Soaring Eagle Casino & Resort, and enjoys a wonderful spouse and three children, with one on the way. He will also be reenrolling, in the Fall of 2012, at UWEC to complete his Bachelors of Business Administration with a Minor in Information Systems.
