Entrepreneurism is Alive in Our Communities

New Mexico businesswoman follows ambition and finds success. With a great idea and some initiative, entreprenerism is within your reach.

June 19, 2012 - PRLog -- Ranchos de Taos, NM- - Entrepreneurs are people who see a need, find a solution to meet that need and risk everything to get that solution to the masses!  They have the ability to see where new opportunities lie.  When people are presented with new choices, entrepreneurs are frequently behind them, adding variety and competition.  The solutions entrepreneurs bring to the marketplace benefit others both directly AND indirectly in the creation of new jobs.

That’s right, jobs!  Did you know that the U.S Census reports that 6.5% of the workforce (or approximately 20 million people) run their own unincorporated businesses?

And, according to the Kaufmann Index of Entrepreneurial Activity, we are still at the highest level of entrepreneurship that we’ve seen over the past 16 years.  Whether people have lost confidence in corporate employment or they simply want to try something new, more people are choosing self-employment and entrepreneurship as an alternative to big business.

Entrepreneurs are a driving force in the economy.   And, they sometimes inspire others to begin businesses of their own.

Many people don’t want to incur the risks associated with becoming an entrepreneur; or, they think one has to be connected to the world of big business in some way.  But, that is not always the situation. Entrepreneurs begin their businesses at varying ages and with a wide range of business experience from none to expert.  Just think of the moms who have invented better toys or easier, safer ways to take care of their children.  They had the experience and desire to create something and they did.

Monica Weaver is a New Mexico entrepreneur who had a desire to start her own paper crafting business and has shared that business opportunity with other individuals who possessed the same desire to start a new business.

Because so many people have recently expressed interest in starting their own scrapbooking business, Monica, is available to discuss the business opportunity and explain how to become an independent, home-based business owner. To learn how to start your own paper crafting business, contact Monica at (575) 779-2144 or monica@addalittledazzle.com.

Monica is also available for media interviews to share her experience in the area of entrepreneurism.  Please use the contact information provided to schedule an interview.
