PRLog (Press Release) -
Jun. 20, 2012 - In cooperation with Footprints of the Mind™, award-winning experts in educational programs that share a love of geography, culture and wonders of our world, Wander our World™ with Wishcraft is offered as an afternoon workshop for kids 5-11 at the Wishcraft Workshop this summer. In addition to traveling the world with Footprints of the Mind™ each day, Wishcraft has designed a set of art and craft activities to complement the learning. Examples include homes/interiors, family ceremonies, textile arts/clothing, resources/recycling and children’s past-times.
"This is a great way to stay academically-
active through the summer while enjoying an engaging and creative good time. The workshops are also a great option for kids that are staying local to travel a bit without a suitcase, or for kids that are enjoying a lazy, beachy summer to have just a little bit of structured activity in the afternoons", says Candice Blansett-Cummins, Founder of The Wishcraft Workshop. Each workshop guides students through specific geographic adventures and relevant art activities.
"Igniting a love for travel and geography at a young age sets the stage for a lifelong love for travel, cultures and global awareness. I'm thrilled to have the opportunity to bring our Wander Our World™ program to Wishcraft and take their community on new adventures this summer," says Irene Antonoglu, Founder of Footprints of the Mind.
The Wander our World™ with Wishcraft workshop is offered Monday-Thursday afternoons 330pm-5pm, June 25-August 24, 2012. Students enroll for a weekly session and can choose weeks a la carte ($145/week). Additional details and online registration can be found at
