Follow on Google News | UK Based RecyCoal Invests MillionsLeading coal recovery company, RecyCoal, has invested over £3.3 million in new machinery for its projects in the UK. The company has taken delivery of 13 CAT 740 articulated dumper trucks and two CAT 349E excavators.
CEO of RecyCoal, Tom Allchurch, commented: “Investment is essential for continual growth, plant machinery is a commodity our business heavily relies on, therefore a significant asset.” RecyCoal, specialises in the recovery of waste coal from old colliery spoil heaps, active coal mines and mine washery discard, and is working on projects throughout the world. The company uses its own unique hybrid Dual Density Natural Medium process to remove coal from variable contaminated feed and restore sites to high environmental standards. The company has recently been given the green light to clean up over 13 million tonnes of colliery spoil at the former Rossington Colliery site. The project will create 70 jobs and recover almost a million tonnes of coal. The new plant machinery will be maintained at RecyCoal’s Mobile Plant Workshop at Carcroft near Doncaster whereby the company’s investment in staff is evident. Tom continued: “The importance placed on health and safety at our sites is paramount hence our dedicated facility to maintain our plant equipment. We have appointed four engineering apprentices to the work closely with our experienced team in the workshop ensuring all our plant equipment is kept in optimum condition.” RecyCoal has established companies in the UK, Australia and the USA with offices in Brisbane, Pittsburgh, and its head office in Doncaster in the UK.
