Beaverton, Oregon – June 17, 2012 In the battle to help our nations homeless and poor. Oregon cinematographer Bob Hawkeye Collins has been working on a film, Wind:-Foreclosure and Homelessness in America. The banks are still winning. Over one-third of people who are homeless now are women and children. Hearing of John Edwards’s statement dedicating himself to helping our nation’s less fortunate after his acquittal, Bob is reaching eastward to join forces with Mr. Edwards. “Listen, we all make mistakes. John’s sincerity and compassion towards the less fortunate at a time when I am trying to show the difficulties faced by so many Americans is no accident”, stated Collins.
“I worked in the trenches as a photojournalist for nearly a decade during the 1980’s working with the homeless. Now I’m working as a cinematographer. I love making my images move. My film currently underway is called Wind:-Foreclosure and Homelessness in America. You can view the completed trailer at Talking Parrot Productions YouTube channel at http://www.youtube.com/
“I very much would like to work with John Edwards in any way I can to help those who are losing their homes. We’re in the process of initiating a Kickstarter program, in the hopes of raising the funding we need to finish our film. Anyone interested in helping can contact us at www.talkingparrotproductions.com. It is a message that the public needs to be made aware of.
