“This is an important milestone for us,” said Bob Elam, who recently joined Detroit Washers as its new quality manager. “Many of our customers were requesting TS16949 certification for their automotive and heavy truck applications, and we were listening. We’re now able to meet any of our customers’ quality requirements.”
Prior to joining Detroit Washers, Elam worked for United Bolt & Screw Co., Dearborn, Mich., where he served as quality manager for 22 years.
