The 2012 Miss Georgia Latina & Miss Teen Georgia Latina Beauty Pageant Celebrates 31 Years

June 21, 2012 - PRLog -- The 2012 crowning of The Miss Pre-Teen Georgia Latina and the Miss Princess Georgia Latina pageant will be held on June 30th 1-3pm at the Melia Hotel. Miss Georgia Latina and Miss Teen Georgia Latina will be held on Saturday, June 30, 2012, at the Melia Hotel Atlanta in midtown Atlanta beginning at 6:00 PM. Tickets to the event are $20.00 and can be purchased online prior to the event or $25.00 the day of the event.

Miss Teen Georgia Latina, Miss Georgia Latina, and Miss Pre Teen Georgia Latina will be recognized as young girls from the ages of 14 - 16 and young ladies ages 18 - 27 who embody beauty, style and personal development allowing the opportunity to compete in a pageant that welcomes their Latin, Mexico, Colombia, El Salvador, Honduras, Panama, Puerto Rico, Ecuador and Peru decent.

This will mark a new beginning for Miss Georgia Latina and Miss Teen Georgia Latina.
"My goal was to bring ladies from all diverse Latina groups together to reflect beauty, confidence, originality and the importance to be proactive in their community", says Director Erika Mitchell. "This is a new chapter and we are excited to have the 2012 event in the city of Atlanta." During the event, the contestants will compete in three categories: swimsuit, evening gown and interview.

Thirteen Latina women will compete for more than $5,000 in scholarships and prizes.
