Bunny Up Racing
The Bunny Run is a road race where a couple will engage in "Bunny Up Activities" in 48 states, in TEN Days!
“This is going to be huge, in my opinion,” said Robert Englehardt, Founder & CEO of Bunny Up LLC. “The Bunny Run is a unique race with photo and video coverage and it incorporates social media for up to the minute following through Facebook & Twitter. This it’s a great chance for our team to show the world how cross country racing can help kids and veterans, yet be quite exciting and exhausting at the same time!"
The Bunny Run begins at 12:01am on Saturday morning, July 14th, 2012. The team will begin the race from an undisclosed location in the Orlando area and will complete the race no more than ten days later, engaging in "Bunny Up Activities" in each of the lower 48 states throughout the course of the race.
“This is already starting to get quite a bit of attention and a large number of couples have asked to be in the race,” said Robert.
This is the first time a race of this nature has ventured across 48 states in such a short period of time and will feature a series of rewards to their followers. Those capable of taking a picture of the Bunny Up Car during the race will receive a reward if they post it to the Bunny Up Fan Page on Facebook (The Bunny List) and those snapping a picture with them in front of the car (at one of the many stops along the way) will receive a "significant"
One could think of the event as a mix between the “Cannonball Run” movie and social media technology, but with a unique twist on "adventure" for a unique couple.
“There are a lot of similarities, but it’s not just a race from point A to point Z. Our team will be engaging in 'Bunny Up Activities' within each state, thereby completing a task on The Bunny List.” Robert said. “This is a chance of a lifetime for our team and will no doubt set a unique record. People will want proof, so photo and video footage will be taken during the race with updates posted on Facebook, Twitter & YouTube.
"The number of requests we have received from other couples to be in this race is somewhat shocking so if things go well, there may be a 2nd Annual Bunny Run down the road," said Robert. "Who knew couples wanted this kind of adventure?"
