Competitive Events
FBLA-PBL’s national awards program recognizes and rewards excellence in a broad range of business and career-related areas. Student members will compete in over 55 business and business-related individual, team, and chapter events, like Job Interview, Management Team Decision Making, Accounting, Cyber Security, Business Ethics, and Community Service Project. The top ten in each event will receive a trophy and will be announced at the Awards of Excellence Ceremony, where nearly $150,000 will be awarded.

Institute for Leaders
Held in conjunction with the NLC, this high-energy, intensive, two-day seminar is a focused-leadership experience for state and local chapter officers, as well as members and advisers. Dynamic keynote speakers and leadership workshops motivate these young business leaders.

March of Dimes Mini Walk
In the nearly 40 years FBLA-PBL has been united with the March of Dimes, we have consistently ranked as the top clubs and organizations fund-raising partner, raising over $15 million. To promote our partnership, FBLA-PBL holds a special March of Dimes March for Babies at each of the conferences to raise additional money and awareness for premature birth. Hundreds of students, advisers, and guests will be walking together for stronger, healthier babies on the following dates:
PBL March of Dimes March for Babies: June 26 5:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.
FBLA March of Dimes March for Babies: July 1 5:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.
Community Service
FBLA-PBL members and advisers will leave a positive lasting legacy on San Antonio by volunteering at several local community organizations while at the conference. Activities range from mulching to helping wounded veterans and their families. Volunteer activities will take place June 23–29 at various locations and times.
