By: ReproTech About 1 man in 6 will be diagnosed with prostate cancer during his lifetime. Prostate cancer is most common in older men, after age 40, however it is becoming more common for younger men to be diagnosed. African- ReproTech, Ltd has organized the Fertility Preservation Network to educate oncology professionals and caretakers, as well as provide the much needed cryopreservation services for men and women. The network now includes members in 33 states and the Caribbean. Additionally, the work of fertileHOPE and LiveSTRONG has advanced the awareness of the need for Fertility Preservation among the oncology community. Earlier in June, ReproTech’s Reno office participated in local restaurant Burger ME’s fundraiser to benefit the Susan G. Komen Foundation, and on June 3, in honor of National Cancer Survivors Day, ReproTech sponsored its Fertility Preservation Network Manager and family and friends in St. Joseph’s/Candler Survive the Five…K in Savannah, GA, to benefit local cancer survivors and the Lance Armstrong Foundation.
