PRLog (Press Release) -
Feb. 11, 2013 - Fairview Microwave is now offering MCX and MMCX series of attenuators. Fairview Microwave's new attenuators come with a plug to jack configuration while custom configuration requirements should contact Fairview Microwave. MCX attenuators are good up to 6 ghz while the MMCX attenuators are good up to 3 ghz. These attenuators come with a snap on interface and have the same inner contact and insulator dimensions as the SMB interface. The MMCX interface is very similar to the MCX but is a subminiature version. These interfaces may be preferred due to small space limitations of your application when operating at lower frequencies. These MCX attenuators can handle an average power of 2 watts and are specified with a VSWR of 1.2 max at 6 Ghz, while the MMCX attenuators can handle the same average power of 2 watts and but has a VSWR max at 1.10 to 3 Ghz. Both series of attenuators come with a Nickel plated Brass body and Gold plated and come with Gold plated phosphor copper contacts. Standard decibel options are available in both lines of attenuators. Pricing, inventory levels, and datasheets soon to come are available at
