By: Ambrpsoa Treatment Center “My life was a wreck. My home was a wreck. I lived worse than a homeless person,” said Mr. Giordano. His living conditions started to deteriorate around him and he felt like the world deserted him. He had rats nested in his couch, mold growth covering his walls and pet waste smearing his floors. He did not care and did not want to burden someone else with his problems. However, when a water bill came that he could not afford to pay he contacted the Port St. Lucie water department. “There’s a hell of a lot of good people,” said Giordano. An employee of the Port St Lucie Water Department sent her son to check on a leak in Mr. Giordano home and it was a chain reaction from there. Reinforcements from the Ambrosia Drug Rehab Treatment Center came to Mr. Giordano aid. With seven days they scrubbed, moved furniture, and completely remolded his home. “I hit the Powerball,” Giordano said with a grin. The Ambrosia team has completely transformed his home from inhabitable into livable again. There is still plenty of work to be completed for Mr. Giordano. The Ambrosia Drug Rehab Treatment Center is happy to collect donations for his home improvements and his hernia surgery. For more information or to donate please contact Ambrosia at 772-323-2099, and speak to Joe Morrsion. You can also visit us at www.ambrosiatreatmentcenter.com End
