World Wide Security is now offering the Tuxedo Touch Control Panel by Honeywell

Home Control and Integration specialists offer latest security and automation technology from Honeywell for homes and businesses.

June 15, 2012 - PRLog -- Garden City, New York—June 15, 2012—World Wide Security Group has been chosen by Honeywell as one of the companies in the First Alert/Honeywell dealer network to introduce this new technology to the marketplace. The much anticipated touch-screen controller combines security and lifestyle technology with automation functions such as temperature, lighting and more. “Honeywell’s latest product offering is changing the way security and lifestyle needs are now incorporated into one product,” stated Ken Mara, President and CEO of World Wide Security, adding, “The security system is performing many more functions to bring control to the home or business owner.”

World Wide Security was first contacted during the development phase of the product to help test it prior to introducing it to the market. “World Wide Security has been in our First Alert Professional authorized dealer program for 20 years.  With a long history in the security business, they understand how consumers’ security needs change and realized how the innovations of Tuxedo Touch™ can help their customers create safer and more comfortable lives,” said Rich Simonetti, Senior Vice President of Sales, Honeywell Security Products Americas (HSPA). “From the onset, we knew this product would be a great tool for our customers. We received a handful and installed them in our homes and in some of our business accounts to complete our beta testing of it. The Tuxedo was a hit and has since taken off,” stated Mara.

The popularity of this product comes as no surprise as it can perform so many tasks to meet the needs of users. Tuxedo Touch is Honeywell’s latest addition to its portfolio of “connected home” products that give low voltage professionals the ability to grow their businesses by incorporating more lifestyle capabilities into service offerings. The system can be programmed to set thermostats and control HVAC systems, close shades and open doors. All of these functions are helpful to both a home or business owner. Besides controlling various security and environmental functions, Tuxedo Touch allows users to view local weather information, upload digital photos and videos, simultaneously view streaming feeds from up to four IP video cameras and create and display messages from household members or employees.
