The move is a homecoming for Red Kite owners Dave and Carrie Groves, who owned Lone Pine Embroidery in Springfield during the 1990s; they sold the company to become publishers, designers and copywriters of a Northern Colorado advertising magazine before moving to Eureka Springs. There, Dave Groves began his website company. Carrie Groves was a reporter for the Eureka Springs Lovely County Citizen and wrote articles for Currents, a county-wide magazine, before accepting the position of publicist for the City of Eureka Springs Advertising and Promotion Commission.
The couple moved back to Springfield because of the greater business opportunities available. The company offers web design and development, and places special emphasis on SEO, a process that utilizes Carrie’s copywriting skills and research techniques. Dave currently handles marketing, as well as site development.
To celebrate its Springfield opening, Red Kite is offering free initial consultations with companies considering new or redesigned websites, or in need of higher ranking in local searches.
