Al Frazza, the creator of the Revolutionary War New Jersey website explains, "New Jersey is rich in Revolutionary War history. Many important events occurred in our state during the war . The intention in creating the website was to give people throughout the state a convenient method to explore it for themselves. Nothing compares to the connection people feel to history when they know they are standing on the spot in which it occurred."
The website was originally created in 2009. It has been recently updated with many new listings and an improved interface in preparation for the Independence Day holiday. The 4th of July is a time when many people and families take an increased interest in exploring the history of the Revolutionary War era.
The website has been used by thousands of people to explore history since its creation. It has been utilized as a reference guide for students; featured in media outlets and by tourism organizations;
