Pasadena To Host The Largest Pageant Competition For Latinas In The State

June 15, 2012 - PRLog -- Selected for its rich, cultural background, state-of-the-art venues, and passion for the arts, Pasadena will host the Miss and Teen California Latina pageant competitions November 16 through the18 of 2012.  Most famous for hosting the annual New Year's Tournament of Roses Parade and the Rose Bowl, Pasadena will now be home to the largest pageant competition for women of Latin descent in the state of California.

The weekend long event will include the annual Purple Carpet kick-off on Friday, November 16th, as well as the Latin Connection expo event at the Pasadena Convention Center, which will feature the Miss and Teen California Latina preliminary competitions on Saturday, November 17th. The final show, which will include the crowning of two winners, performers and special guests, will be held on Sunday, November 18th at the Pasadena Convention Center. The beautiful Westin Pasadena is named as the host hotel.

Winners in each division will be awarded a series of prizes including scholarship awards. Young women of Latin heritage, between the ages of 13-27, from all areas of California will partake in a series of competition over the weekend including personal interview, evening gown, swimwear and fashion wear.
