New York Magazine “Best Doctors” Issue Recognizes 31 Englewood Hospital Physicians

June 15, 2012 - PRLog -- (Englewood, NJ) – Englewood Hospital and Medical Center has more top doctors than any other New Jersey hospital, according to New York Magazine’s prestigious “Best Doctors” annual issue.

The magazine named 31 doctors at Englewood Hospital, who rank among the top 10-percent of the region’s physicians.

The June 11 issue of New York Magazine features 1,160 doctors in 63 specialties, an abbreviated version of the annual Castle Connolly Medical Ltd. guidebook, Top Doctors: New York Metro Area^™.  The New York-based research and information company compiles and publishes the list to help patients connect with the best doctors in their communities.

Selections are based on a peer-review survey. Thousands of medical professionals nominate and vote for those they consider the best in their field. The Castle Connolly physician-led research team then calculates and releases the results, following a comprehensive review process. This year, a total of more than 5600 physicians made the Castle Connolly list.
