World Vets Welcomes Two New Employees

June 15, 2012 - PRLog -- World Vets recently welcomed Dr. Robert Trevino as a staff veterinarian and Susan Giesel as development and communications manager.  

Trevino earned a bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Texas and a doctorate of veterinary medicine from Texas A&M University.  Before joining World Vets, Trevino worked at Bay Glen Animal Hospital.  He also volunteered for the Marine Mammal Stranding Network and completed two mission trips to Nicaragua for World Vets.

Trevino’s role as primary disaster response veterinarian is to further develop the international disaster response program for World Vets.  He will also have a lead role in improving existing international program, as well as, create and provide leadership for new international programs.  

Giesel earned her bachelor’s degree in business management from Hiram College and her master’s degree in health services administration from the University of South Dakota. Prior to joining World Vets, Giesel was the marketing director for the Rapid City Convention & Visitors Bureau.  She has 22 years of experience in management, marketing and fundraising.
