“The Make-A-Wish Foundation is the perfect institution to help us achieve our goals and gives us a chance to give something back to the many families in the area,” says Melanie Smith, Verizon Wireless Communications Store Manager. “I personally understand the need for help in the community and the consequences of it not being there. Now, it is my passion to help people so they too can have the opportunity to pay it forward."
With a goal of $5000, they will be collecting fees from vendors and will receive additional donations from local businesses and attendees over the course of the weekend. One hundred percent of the vendor fees and donations will be contributed to Make-A-Wish®
