Call to Artists for BIG ARTS World of Fashion Exhibit

PRLog (Press Release) - Jun. 14, 2012 - BIG ARTS invites artists to submit entries for its juried World of Fashion Exhibit, which runs October 15 through December 1. The exhibit will feature images of the world of fashion and its influence on contemporary life. Entries must be delivered to BIG ARTS Friday, October 12, from 9 a.m. to noon and cannot be accepted prior to this receiving date and time.

Juror is modernist painter Veron Ennis http://veronennis.com/. Ennis is also an arts journalist, art critic, and Director of UNIT A – Contemporary Art Space in downtown Fort Myers.

There will be a Juror’s talk Friday, October 12, at 2:30 p.m. A reception and awards ceremony will take place Friday, November 2, from 5:30 to 7 p.m.
         
Using any type of artistic medium, an artist may submit up to two entries for consideration. All entries must be original and may not have been previously shown at BIG ARTS. There is no size limitation for two dimensional artwork; 3-D pieces are limited to 60 inches in any direction. All work must be ready for proper hanging and display.

The fee to enter up to two entries is $25 for BIG ARTS members and $35 for non-members. All works must be available for sale and priced. No artwork shall be removed until close of show.
