(San Francisco, CA) – TLW Public Relations has signed renowned writer Janie P. Bess as a new client.  The company will work with Bess to promote her writings, speaking engagements, workshops and other event appearances and activities.  The contract is for one year.

“We are very pleased to represent Ms. Bess,” says the company’s founder and CEO Deloris Roach.  “She is a stellar talent in the literary world and her book Visions is an outstanding example of that talent.”

Visions is a memoir that tells the story of Bess as a young mother of five children who struggles to get services for her oldest son who was born deaf and later became blind.

“The book is my gift to anyone out there who may be inspired and, hopefully, uplifted by my family’s story,” Bess says. “I’m very happy and excited to have TLW Public Relations represent me and help get the word out about my book and other projects that I have planned for this year,” she adds.

Bess is the founder of the Writer Resource Center, a support organization for both novice and published writers.  The group sponsors workshops, critique sessions, summer youth writing programs and events, including the annual Northern California Poetry Fest held each April.  TLW Public Relations has also been hired to represent the group.
