David Consulting Group Attends the Innovation Value Institute Summer Summit

June 19, 2012 - PRLog -- Malvern, PA – David Consulting Group (http://www.davidconsultinggroup.com), a leading international management technology consulting firm and Innovation Value Institute (IVI) Consultant Partner, recently attended the IVI’s Summer Summit, after successfully helping to launch the first IVI International Chapter.  

Members of the IVI are committed to investigating, advancing and disseminating the frameworks, tools and best practices associated with managing IT Value and IT-enabled innovation, most notably the IT-CMF framework. A member since 2011, David Consulting Group advocates the institution’s mission to create a global gold standard for IT management.

The Summit, held at the National University of Ireland, Maynooth, attracted large corporate organizations, SMEs and individual IT professionals, focused on the theme of Future Proofing Your IT Strategies. The speakers discussed practical uses of the IT-CMF framework in complex organizations, as well as in small and medium enterprises. The members-only portion of the conference highlighted novel uses of the framework in terms of specific industries, as well as in conjunction with other complementary frameworks.

This year, DCG and a team of US-based members helped organize and launch the IVI East Coast Chapter, whose aim is to promote the adoption of the IT-CMF framework in the United States, while helping members further develop their skills and abilities.

The East Coast Chapter is envisioned as the first of several regionally-based, member-driven chapters across the United States. Preliminary discussions are underway for a West Coast-based chapter.
