Used Fire Trucks Sold To Overseas Broker

One of two used fire trucks sold to an overseas broker that plans to sell the used fire apparatus to fire departments overseas.
 
June 14, 2012 - PRLog -- A 1989 E-ONE was purchased several months ago from the Neffsville Fire Company in Pennsylvania. Fire Line Equipment re-sold the truck to an overseas broker and shipped the truck to Alabama in June 2012.

Purchased new in 1989 by the Neffsville Fire Company, the truck featured a four door Pem Fab cab and chassis, Detroit Diesel 6V92, Allison automatic transmission, Hale 1500 GPM fire pump, 750 gallon booster tank, Front suction intake and an E-ONE alumnum body. The second used fire truck purchased by the buyer is from Ebenezer Fire Company, Lebanon County Pennsylvania.

The truck was picked up today by Fire Line Equipment and transported to our facility in East Earl, Pennsylvania. A transport company is expected to arrive on Monday to load the truck and ship via low boy to Alabama as well.

Also purchased new in 1987 by the fire company, this very clean used fire truck features a Sutphen custom cab, Detroit Diesel 8V71, Allison automatic transmission, Hale 1500 GPM fire pump, 1000 gallon water tank, Elkhart deck gun, generator and a Sutphen body.
