Mother and Son Pie Shop Tell Their Inspiring Story with New Website

Pie Lady & Son, established in 1996, is the creation of Deborah Tyler (the “original Pie Lady”), and son Wil Tyler.  Pie Lady & Son sell home made pies and other baked goods, using traditional family recipes perfected over time.  The business opened its first retail location on Route 9W in Upper Nyack, New York, in addition to selling at area farmer’s markets and in select restaurants in Rockland County, New York and beyond.  

Deborah Tyler began baking and selling pies from her back porch to local customers in the 1990’s. Her baking generated much publicity, including a write-up in the New York Times.  With the help of her son, Pie Lady & Son has since been reborn into an efficient, fully staffed business, whilst retaining its down-home feel.  Today customers can choose from more than a dozen pie flavors including seasonal and limited time specialties, in addition to a wide selection of cookies, muffins, scones and other made-from-scratch treats.  Each is guaranteed homemade and freshly placed in a hand-stamped box.

Liqui-Site Designs, Inc. was responsible for the development of a new brand identity, as well as the design of a vibrant website that successfully conveys the hand crafted products and original story behind the business.  The site takes viewers into the Pie Lady’s kitchen, with a virtual tour, how-to videos and photos from the shop.
