Crafters Look Forward to Festival

June 13, 2012 - PRLog -- The  37th Annual Trenton Mid-Summer Festival is scheduled for July 13, 14 and 15, 2012.  It is held in downtown Trenton on Jefferson between Maple and Harrison.  There will be plenty of attractions to keep you entertained all weekend, making the festival a must addition to your stay-at-home travel itinerary.  

In addition to the overall reunion theme, at this year’s festival guests will still be able to recycle cans, plastic and glass. Recycle bins, sponsored by DTE, TBA, Renewal by Anderson and Metro Shoes Credit Union, will be located through out the festival area.

Fran Linkowski has been exhibiting at TMSF for about eight years now. “I enjoy the show because the community is friendly and it is always seems like a great celebration when we arrive,” Linkowski said. They have many repeat customers who look for them in the same spot every year to “stock up” on their favorite spices and dips. The best seller is the garlic dill and of course there will be plenty of “samples” at the fair.

They mix all the ingredients from scratch in their Ohio shop and use only US products. A new item this year is a beer bread batter but they have over 20 products they offer which include not just dips, but rubs, soups, spreads, slow cooker spices as well as gluten free, low sodium, vegetarian and vegan products. Over 150 artists and crafters will be in attendance. Visitors can enjoy a variety of unique woodworking, clothing jewelry, hand woven rugs and many specialty items.  Of course the food will also be spectacular this year! Food vendors will offer everything from hot dogs, fondue, hamburgers, stuffed pizza, strudel, ice cream, sno cones, lemonade, elephant ears and much more.
