One of the stand-out elements of the campaign is the multi-media, single-page website. The website, bobgibsonproject.org, features an interactive timeline of Gibson’s career, background on the statue, videos and a “donate now” button to allow for immediate donation.
“We wanted the website to not only be a reminder to Gibson’s existing fans, but a tool for creating new fans. In the history of the game, Bob Gibson is unique. We’ve told that story in a way that makes it educational but also fun to explore. And the more people explore, we think the more they’ll want to be part of the Project,” said Svoboda.
As part of Redstone’s contribution, much of the marketing services were donated. The Redstone team includes Svoboda, Phil Webb, Partner and Chairman, Aubrie Hill, Video and Online Specialist, Jeff Kavan, Senior Art Director, Shawna Eves, Traffic Manager and Randa Zalman, eMarketing Director and Senior Account Supervisor.
