Annual Ben Everson Groundwater Scholarship Deadline Approaches

PRLog (Press Release) - Jun. 13, 2012 - The annual Ben Everson Scholarship deadline of July 1, 2012, is fast approaching. Two $1,000 scholarships are awarded annually by the Claude Laval Corporation to college students who aspire to enter a groundwater related field of study. The applicants must be the offspring of groundwater professionals in order to be eligible.

The scholarships are awarded in honor of the late Ben Everson, a long time employee of both LAKOS and Laval Underground Surveys, who personified the values of hard work and dedication. He believed wholeheartedly in the promise of America’s youth, and for those reasons the Claude Laval Corporation offers the scholarship in his name.

To apply, applicants simply need to fill out the application which can be downloaded from http://beneversonscholarship.com/. Applications need to be emailed or faxed in by July 1, 2012.

Last year’s winners of the prestigious scholarship are focusing on remediating contaminated groundwater wells and engineering new and better technology to improve the groundwater industry.
