Environmental Test & Design Breaks Ground with New Website

June 13, 2012 - PRLog -- PLYMOUTH MEETING, PA, June 12, 2012 — Launching in 2009 as a biweekly newsletter that specializes in the interrelationship between electronic products, systems, and devices and their environments, Environmental Test and Design is breaking ground this week with a new website that features a comprehensive Buyers’ Guide.  

Because of the website’s simple layout, engineers can now search for news, standards, and the latest product developments within the test and design field according to 16 channels, thus enhancing the search experience and providing a platform for companies to feature their products on related channels.

The technology channels are classified according to Acoustics/Noise, Energy Efficiency, HALT/HASS, Harsh Environments, Lifecycle/Reliability, RoHS/ WEEE, Salt Fog/Sand/Dust, Shock/Vibration, Temp/Humidity, and Test Equipment.  Market channels consist of Aerospace, Automotive, Consumer, Electronics, Design, Military, and Test.

Integral to the new site rollout is the ETD Buyers’ Guide, which is an online directory of companies, products, and services that can be searched under more than two dozen different categories.  Besides basic contact information, each company has the option of posting datasheets, white papers, product images and demo videos, and more.

Finally, the new website is equipped with commenting capabilities and social media sharing so that engineers may easily engage their colleagues in the latest trends and technological developments.
