International Film Festival Producer Elizabeth English and Winsome Sinclair & Associates Join Forces

June 13, 2012 - PRLog -- The Moondance International Film Festival (MIFF), founded by Elizabeth English will be executive produced and presented by Winsome Sinclair & Associates (WSA) this Fall.  WSA’s CEO, Winsome Sinclair, will serve as the 2012 MIFF Festival Director. The partnership between the two film industry veterans will further strengthen the mission of MIFF, whose primary goal is to present films, scripts and music that have the power to raise awareness about vital social issues.  The 13th annual Moondance International Film Festival will take place September 13-16, 2012.   Submissions for the 2012 festival are currently being accepted.  The postmark deadline for entries is June 30th.

Under the direction of founder and Artistic Director, Elizabeth English, The Moondance International Film Festival was formed out of a desire to create an international platform where talented but underrepresented filmmakers, writers and composers could share and connect their stories with an audience in a meaningful way.   “The WSA mission is virtually the same as the Moondance mission, and we gratefully welcome their valued participation and support!” says English.

Since 1999, the Moondance International Film Festival has drawn a plethora of talented filmmakers, writers, composers and industry professionals from around the globe. MIFF continues to attract international audiences, and global submissions, receiving entries from nations from as far away as Australia, Austria, Belgium, France, South Africa, Thailand, Venezuela, Vietnam and many more. This year’s film festival will again introduce an impressive line-up of top-quality US, foreign and indie films, music, pitch-panels, networking events, panel discussions and professional workshops.  

WSA will also present its annual networking event, BREEZES, as MIFF’s closing night party.  Now in its ninth year, WSA’s BREEZES, is one of the most highly-anticipated events in New York, attracting hundreds of influential filmmakers, tastemakers and artists in the entertainment industry.  When speaking of the new partnership, Sinclair exclaims, “This partnership is a dream come true.
