KALEIDOSCOPE 2012 at the mall Brighton Art Guild’s Annual All Member Fine Art Exhibition

June 13, 2012 - PRLog -- The member Artists of the Brighton Art Guild present a unique variety of original new works, live music entertainment and artist demonstrations beginning Thursday June 21st through Sunday June 24th at the Guild's 13th annual Kaleidoscope at the mall juried fine art exhibition. This will be the 2nd year the exhibition is hosted by the Green Oak Village Place mall. In addition to the fine art exhibition the Guild is featuring The Gallery Shop where visitors can purchase original creations all priced under $100. All events during the exhibition are open to the public and free.
The "Norma Gray College Art Scholarship" and the "Scholarship for the Visual Arts" will be awarded at the Artists' reception Saturday, June 23, 6:30-8pm in the exhibition gallery located at Green Oak Village Place mall, 9795 Village Place Blvd., Brighton (near Buffalo Wild Wings), with an opportunity to "Meet the Artists".

Exhibition visitors can expect to enjoy an uncommon variety, depth and ingenuity in the original works of this year's featured artists.  The Brighton Art Guild members' works are in a variety of mediums including watercolor, oil, acrylic, sculptures in wood, photography, ceramics and pottery, art glass, jewelry, textiles and mixed media.

The Brighton Art Guild is open to anyone living in the area that actively loves or creates fine art. The Guild meets monthly at the Brighton District Library on the 1st Wednesday of the month at 6:30pm for membership and educational programs and offers several events and a variety of venues to showcase members' artwork throughout the year.
