Nebraska Business Owner Appointed to National Task Force

June 13, 2012 - PRLog -- Lincoln, Nebraska business owner, Patty Kriefels has been appointed to The Inventory Institute’s Insurance Commissioner and Insurance Company Task Force. This Task Force works with Insurance companies and Insurance Commissioners in North America to help spread consumer awareness and education on the importance of third-party Home Inventory.

Patty was accepted to this Task Force because of her highly respected history as an insurance agent with Forsyth Insurance Agency. Her career in insurance spans 30 years. In that time, Patty gained a reputation for her passion for all-things safety and preparedness.

As an industry expert, Patty will be a featured presenter at the 2012 Home Inventory Professional’s conference in Jacksonville, Florida in October. Her presentation will focus on how Home Inventory Professionals can work with insurance agents to help American home and business owners be as protected, prepared, and ready as possible.

Patty says, “As an insurance agent, I gained first-hand experience of what happens to unsuspecting property owners who think ‘it will never happen to me’ only to realize that that no one is immune or 100% safe. I look forward to working with the other members of the task force and am eager to educate consumers and promote the services HIPs provide. There is so much information out there. By working together we can do our part to get the right information into the right hands and at the right time.”
